Pioneering Contact Lens Technology
Soper Brothers and Associates have been involved in contact lens development since the original invention of the corneal contact lens. In fact, Joseph W. Soper invented the first contact lens for keratoconus, which bears his name and is used worldwide. Today, Marcus specializes in developing lenses for difficult eyes such as those with keratoconus, astigmatism, presbyopia and cosmetic defects. He uses state-of-the-art computer assisted ocular modeling devices and digital fabrication techniques that he has developed.

Mr. Soper is internationally recognized for his contributions to the ophthalmic community and is regularly invited to speak at both medical and technical meetings worldwide. His work related to topographical mapping of the cornea with application to corneal lens design is a favorite topic.
